WHAT WE DO

The Kinsmen Club of St. Albert is a registered non-profit society and chartered member of the national service club, KIN Canada.
The Club’s primary fundraising activity is the Rainmaker Rodeo & Exhibition funded by the resources of the Kinsmen Club of St. Albert.

Net revenue generated from the Rainmaker is distributed to provide programs and services from over thirty worthy community, social service,

youth and minor sports organizations in and around St. Albert. Some of the proceeds are directed to improvements and additions to the

Kinsmen Banquet Centre, RV & Community Park. All buildings and facilities on the grounds are owned by the St. Albert Kinsmen and the land  is leased from the

City of St. Albert and managed by the  St. Albert Kinsmen on behalf of St. Albert residents.

PARTNERSHIP WITH CYSTIC FIBROSIS

From a relationship that began on a barstool in 1963, a 55-year friendship has grown into a committed partnership.

Over the years, Kinsmen and Kinettes have devoted their efforts to an incredible assortment of events ranging from Daisy Days to road tolls to barbecues –

all to help fight cystic fibrosis.

KINSMEN SERVICE AWARDS

The Kinsmen Club of St. Albert Service Award is awarded every year to four students (one from each St. Albert high school) who are enrolled in a post-secondary institution.

The competition is designed to recognize students who have demonstrated a commitment to their school and/or their community through service-oriented volunteerism.

In addition to a scholarship of $250.00, successful students will also be awarded a plaque to be given out at the school’s awards ceremony.
